Is there a restroom on the boat?
Here is the straight version. Each marina we depart from has restrooms, and our private tiki boat has a bathroom aboard. Those are the two things to plan around. If you are booking a shelling tour, a dolphin tour, a sunset cruise or a private charter on one of our other boats, make the marina restroom your last stop before you step aboard.
If a bathroom aboard truly matters for your group, because of a medical need, a newly potty-trained toddler or a grandparent who wants the peace of mind, the tiki boat is the one to book. Not sure which trip fits? Call or text us at (239) 301-8913 before you book and we will tell you what to expect.
The boat with a bathroom aboard
Our tiki boat is the one with a bathroom aboard. It runs private charters only, the whole boat for one group of up to 26 guests, and it sails from Naples Bay Resort & Marina. Along with the bathroom you get a thatched roof for shade, coolers with ice and a bar area for your food, which is why it works as well for a family reunion as it does for a birthday or a team outing.
Restrooms at the marina
Each marina we depart from has restrooms, so the simplest plan is the best one: arrive a few minutes early and go right before you board. Our Goodland trips leave from San Marco Marina, on the doorstep of the Ten Thousand Islands, and our Naples trips leave from Naples Bay Resort & Marina. For getting to the dock, see our guide to parking for a Naples boat tour.
No restrooms on the islands
The beaches that make these trips special are boat-only and undeveloped. Keewaydin Island has no restrooms, no fresh water and no concessions, and the wild islands of the Ten Thousand Islands have no facilities either. That is a big part of their charm, and it is why the marina stop matters. On a 3-hour Keewaydin tour you get about 1 hour 45 minutes on the island, so go before you board and you are set.
How to plan ahead
A little planning covers almost everything. Use the marina restroom right before you board, even if nobody feels like they need it, and have the kids go too, no matter how confident they sound. Keep drinking water, since the Florida sun is no joke; just time your last stop for the dock. If a bathroom aboard is a must for anyone in your group, book the private tiki boat, or call (239) 301-8913 and we will help you choose.
