Meet the crew
Captain Jamie
Captain · Florida Coastal Master Naturalist

Captain Jamie's love of the water started young — waterskiing behind her father's boat in rural southeast Michigan — and eventually she packed the car, her dog Stella riding along, and headed south to chase a lifelong dream of living in Florida.
Her Florida chapter began as a first mate aboard the Naples Princess, then at the wheel of larger passenger boats in Naples — until she discovered the Ten Thousand Islands and knew she'd found her calling. She's guided shellers through this estuary ever since, sharing the ecosystem, the islands' history and her favorite part of all: you'll hear her cheering when dolphins leap in the wake.
Captains and crew rotate across the fleet and both home ports with the season and the tides, so we can't promise who'll be at your wheel on a given day — but every Sand Dollar trip runs with a local captain, USCG licensed & insured, and a crew that treats your day on the water like their own.
