Meet the crew
Captain Paul Stancati
Marco Captain

Captain Paul Stancati is a seasoned mariner with a deep-rooted passion for the sea. A retired Navy SeaBee, he's worked underwater construction as a hardhat diver and spent years as an engineering tech helping maintain Lee County's waters and artificial reefs.
He's served as a tow captain and master of sailing vessels, fell for sailing while stationed in Puerto Rico β exploring Vieques, Culebra and the U.S. Virgin Islands β and still slips away to sail the Dry Tortugas and Key West. His philosophy, and a pretty good motto for a day out here: βIt isn't the destination, but the journey.β
Captains and crew rotate across the fleet and both home ports with the season and the tides, so we can't promise who'll be at your wheel on a given day β but every Sand Dollar trip runs with a local captain, USCG licensed & insured, and a crew that treats your day on the water like their own.
