The Zero-Drive Dock
Most guests planning a boat tour burn the morning figuring out where to park. You don’t. Our Naples boats tie up at the Naples Bay Resort & Marina — the very marina at 1500 5th Ave S where you’re already staying, a couple of blocks off 5th Avenue South. From most rooms it’s a short, flat walk down to the water: coffee in hand, kids in tow, no rideshare, no directions to memorize. When we say ‘zero drive,’ we mean it literally — you could watch our boat idle up to the slip from near your room and still stroll down in time. It’s the easiest on-the-water morning, or evening, in all of Naples.
From this dock we run the calm-water side of our world. Naples Bay is protected and glassy compared with the open Gulf, which makes it forgiving for first-timers, grandparents, and anyone who worries about getting seasick. Out here you’ll cruise past the mega-yachts and the waterfront mansions of Port Royal — Naples’ own Millionaire’s Row — and slip toward Gordon Pass, where the bay meets the Gulf. Bottlenose dolphins live in these waters year-round and often surf the wake, and in the cooler months a manatee sometimes noses up in the seagrass along the shallows. Wild animals on their own schedule, always — never a guarantee, always a thrill when it happens.

Getting Aboard
There’s almost nothing to it — here’s the whole route, from check-in to lines-off.
You’re starting at 1500 5th Ave S, right on protected Naples Bay and a couple of blocks from the shops and restaurants of 5th Avenue South. Our Naples boats work out of this same marina, so your hotel and our dock are one and the same address.
No car, no rideshare, no parking hunt. From most rooms it’s a short, flat stroll to the marina docks — the whole reason this is the easiest boat morning in Naples. Bring the kids, bring your coffee; you won’t break a sweat getting there.
Head down about 15 minutes before your booked time. Look for our boat along the marina and our captain will wave you aboard — there’s no ticket booth to hunt down and no shuttle to catch. Just show up at the water and we’ll take it from there.
Sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and a light layer — the breeze on the bay runs cooler than the deck by your pool. Add water, a camera or phone, and soft-soled shoes. Leave the cooler questions to us; we’ll tell you what each cruise allows when you book.
If friends are meeting you from elsewhere in Naples, it’s a quick trip to 5th Ave S with rideshare drop-off and paid parking nearby. Door-to-dock times vary block to block, so have them check their own map app for the exact minute count from where they’re starting.
We idle out past the yachts, point toward Port Royal and Gordon Pass, and the tour begins — usually a 1.5 to 2 hour cruise, returning to the same dock you left from. Step off, and you’re a two-minute walk from a shower and a nap.

It’s on-site. Our Naples boats depart from the Naples Bay Resort & Marina itself, at 1500 5th Ave S. For most guests it’s a short walk from your room down to the dock — no drive, no rideshare, and no parking to sort out.
We don’t do lobby pickup — every cruise departs from the marina docks on the property. The good news is the marina is right there, so from most rooms it’s just a few minutes on foot to meet the boat at its slip.
Bottlenose dolphins live in these waters year-round and often ride the wake, and from roughly November through March, when the Gulf cools, manatees drift in from the Rookery Bay estuary and sometimes surface in the seagrass shallows. You’ll also cruise past the yachts and waterfront mansions of Port Royal near Gordon Pass. They’re all wild animals on their own schedule, though, so we never promise a specific sighting — we just know the water and put you in the best spots for it.
Shelling and the wild Ten Thousand Islands — think the barrier-island beaches off Kice and Cape Romano — run from our Goodland dock, a short drive south of Naples, not from the resort marina. We’re glad to help you arrange a shelling trip (from $125 for adults and $90 for kids); just ask when you book. Remember it’s empty shells only in Collier County.
