Plan on about a 20–25 minute drive south from the resort to Naples Bay Resort & Marina at 1500 5th Avenue South, traffic depending. That’s a range rather than a promise — the real number swings with the season and the hour, so drop your exact room address into your own map app before you head out. The usual route runs south on Airport-Pulling Road or US-41 into the 5th Avenue South district, and a lot of guests simply rideshare so nobody has to park or drive home after an evening cruise.

That’s the way most Tiburón guests do it, and it works cleanly. Our cruises run about an hour and a half to two hours, so a mid-afternoon or early-evening departure slots in neatly after a round with time to shower and drive. Give yourself the 20–25 minutes each way plus ten minutes at the dock, and tell us the window you have when you book — we’ll point you at the departure that fits it. Sunset times shift by a couple of hours across the year, so it’s worth checking the date you’re coming. It works in reverse too: if your tee time is in the afternoon, a morning departure gets you back with the whole day still ahead of you.

No — we depart from the marina, not the hotel, so there’s no lobby or curbside pickup. It’s a short drive or rideshare south to Naples Bay Resort & Marina, and once you’ve booked we’ll send you the exact slip and a where-to-meet note so nobody is hunting the docks. A sunset cruise, nine times out of ten — it uses the end of the day the course has already given back to you, and it’s the easiest thing in Naples to talk a tired group into. If you’d rather go earlier, the Port Royal mansion cruise is the one people remember: an unhurried idle through the canals where the waterfront estates, docks and seawalls line up on both sides. Groups that want their own boat and their own timing book a private charter and combine the two into one run, idling the canals first and then turning for the pass as the light goes. Often, and honestly that’s the best we can say. Wild bottlenose dolphins live in Naples Bay and the passes year-round and frequently roll up alongside the boat or surf the wake, but they’re wild animals on their own schedule and we never promise a sighting. Manatees are a cool-season thing here — they gather in warmer, calmer backwater when the Gulf drops below about 68 degrees from November into March, scattered a few at a time rather than herded up like Crystal River. You’ll almost always have herons, ospreys and pelicans working the seawalls either way.

You can get close to one. Keewaydin Island is boat-only and sits just south of Gordon Pass, so our Naples departures run out past it and you’ll see that wild, undeveloped shoreline from the water. If what you actually want is a proper wild-island shelling trip, the honest answer is our other dock: shelling runs leave from San Marco Marina in Goodland, on the far side of Marco Island, which is a considerably longer drive from North Naples. Shelling here is a year-round thing tied to the tides rather than a season — and in Collier County it’s empty shells only, no live ones.
