Our Goodland dock at San Marco Marina and our Naples Bay Resort & Marina dock both sit low to the water, so you step straight onto the boat — no ladder, no long climb down a seawall. Your captain paces the day for comfort rather than a schedule: an unhurried cruise out, plenty of time to sit in the shade, and a mate happy to lend a hand getting on, off or moving around the boat. Bring a hat and sunscreen and let the crew handle the rest.

How do we board the boat — are there steps or a ladder?
Our Goodland and Naples docks both sit low to the water, so you step straight aboard rather than climbing a ladder. Your captain or mate is right there to lend a hand as you get on, move around, or get off.
Will the ride be rough?
We stay inside protected inshore water — the Ten Thousand Islands, Rookery Bay and Naples Bay — rather than running open Gulf swell, so the ride is smooth on the great majority of trips. Wind and weather can still bump the water some days, and your captain will always tell you what to expect before you book.
Can we book a private charter just for our group?
Absolutely. A private charter puts the whole boat at your group’s disposal — you choose the departure time, the length of the trip, and the pace, with no other guests aboard. It’s a popular choice for retiree groups, reunions and anyone who’d rather not rush.
Is shelling hard if you don’t want to walk in soft sand?
Not on our trips. Your captain beaches the boat on a flat, firm shell bar rather than deep, soft dune sand, so walking the tide line is easy. As always in Collier County, it’s empty shells only — anything still alive goes back on the beach.
Is there shade on board?
Yes — our covered vessels and the tiki boat both offer shaded seating, and a sunset or shelling cruise naturally avoids the hottest, highest-sun hours of midday. Bring a hat and sunscreen just the same.
