That said, we’re not medical professionals — please check with your doctor before booking, especially later in pregnancy, and let your captain know you’re expecting so they can plan the gentlest route.
Should we book a private charter or a shared sunset cruise?
Either works well. A private charter puts the whole boat at your disposal, so you set the pace, route and timing with no other guests aboard — a nice touch for a babymoon. A shared sunset cruise is simpler to book and gives you the same calm water and golden light.
Will we see dolphins?
Bottlenose dolphins live in these waters year-round and turn up on the great majority of trips, especially near Gordon Pass. They’re wild animals, so we can never promise a sighting, but your captain knows where they’ve been working.
Is there shade and somewhere comfortable to sit?
