Isles of Capri sits right on our doorstep
Isles of Capri is the low-key, four-island fishing village you drive through on the way to Marco Island — docks outnumber streetlights and there isn’t a high-rise in sight. We don’t keep a marina on the islands themselves, but we don’t need to: our Goodland dock is about a 15-minute drive south, and our Naples Bay dock is roughly 20–25 minutes north. Either way, you’re looking at a short drive, not a haul across the county, and you’re headed straight into the same water that runs right past your front door.
That water is Capri Pass, the deep inlet between the north tip of Marco Island and the south end of Keewaydin — one of the most reliable dolphin stretches on this whole coast. Our captains work this pass constantly on their way out to the barrier islands and back, so a trip that starts near Isles of Capri usually means dolphins riding the bow wake before you’ve even cleared the channel. From there it’s a short run north to Keewaydin’s shell-strewn beaches, or south into the Ten Thousand Islands and the fishing village of Goodland.
However you spend the day, empty shells only is the rule in Collier County, and no sighting — dolphin, manatee or otherwise — is ever a guarantee, just very good odds on this stretch of water. No — we don’t keep a marina on the islands themselves. Our nearest dock is San Marco Marina in Goodland, about a 15-minute drive south, with a second dock at Naples Bay Resort & Marina roughly 20–25 minutes north.

It’s a short, straight shot — about a 15-minute drive down Collier Boulevard and across the Marco Island causeway to San Marco Marina in Goodland, our closest departure point to Capri Pass and the Ten Thousand Islands.
