We’re not a wedding venue — we’re a private boat charter, and for a lot of couples that’s exactly the point. Book the whole boat, pick your window around sunset, and bring whoever you need: your officiant, a witness or two, maybe a small circle of family. There’s no ceremony package, no coordinator and no upsell menu. What you get is a licensed USCG captain, a clean private boat and open water — you and your person handle the rest.
Where you say “I do” is up to your captain’s local knowledge and the tide. Many couples like idling quietly off Keewaydin Island as the light goes gold, or drifting through Gordon Pass with the Port Royal skyline behind you. Out of Goodland, the Ten Thousand Islands offer even more privacy — mangrove backwater with nothing but birds and water for company. Can we actually get married on your boat?
Yes — you can hold a private wedding ceremony or elopement aboard one of our charters. You’ll need to bring your own officiant, since we don’t provide one, and we don’t sell wedding packages or coordinate the ceremony itself. What we provide is the private boat, a licensed captain and the water — everything from vows to flowers is on you.
Do you offer wedding packages with catering, decor or a coordinator?
No. We’re a private boat charter, not a wedding venue or planning service, so there’s no catering, decor rental or on-board coordinator. Most couples keep it simple: bring a small speaker, a bouquet and the people who matter, and let the captain handle the water.
How many guests can come on a wedding charter?
It depends on the boat, so tell us your headcount when you inquire and we’ll match you to the right vessel. These charters work best for elopements and small, intimate groups rather than large wedding parties.
Where do wedding charters depart from?
Private charters run out of our docks in Naples and Goodland, the gateway to Marco Island and the Ten Thousand Islands. Naples departures put you near Gordon Pass and the Port Royal waterfront; Goodland departures put you closer to Keewaydin Island and the wilder backwater of the Ten Thousand Islands. We’ll help you pick based on the look you want.
What’s the best time of day to book a boat wedding?
Sunset is by far the most popular window — the Gulf light is unbeatable and it makes for the best photos. Because it’s a private charter, we build the timing around that evening’s actual sunset rather than a fixed clock time, so ask about golden-hour scheduling when you reserve.
Can we bring an officiant, photographer or small sound system aboard?
Yes to all three. Bring your own licensed officiant, a photographer and a small battery-powered speaker if you want music for the ceremony. Just keep gear compact — it’s a boat deck, not a stage, so we ask guests to travel light and wear boat-friendly, non-marking shoes.
